A Round-Up of My Favourite Classical Guitar Recordings from 2013

2013 has been an absolute cracker of a year for classical guitar recordings and I’ve had the enormous pleasure to review a number of them on the blog this year. Here’s a bit of a wrap-up of some of my favourites (in no particular order):

(1) Bryan Baker – The Lacuna Variations

(2) Lily Afshar – Musica da Camera

(3) Michael Sheridan – Prelude

(4) Daniel Nistico – Un Viaje Mistico

(5) Rick Alexander – Fine Light

OK, not officially reviewed on the blog yet, but Rick released his simply delightful recording of original tunes in September of this year. Watch this space in early 2014 for a review. LISTEN HERE
