Introducing Rising Classical Guitar Talent Andrew Blanch In His First Aussie Tour!

Andrew Blanch is developing a reputation as one of the country’s leading young classical guitarists. He is a regular performer as a soloist and in chamber settings and has performed at prestigious events such as the Canberra International Music Festival and at the Sydney Opera House as a part of the ‘Encore’ series which was recorded live to CD.

Andrew is taking a program of his favourite Spanish guitar music around various locations to raise funds to record his debut CD this December. You’ll be treated to works by Albeniz, De Falla, Llobet, Scarlatti, Tarrega and Tedesco.

And to see what’s in store check out these clips from the man himself – pretty fantastic playing in my opinion – highly expressive and beautifully rich tone.  Awesome!

This one is just gorgeous!
